About Steven Littler Photography

Steven has been a wedding photographer for 20 years and gained a wealth of experience in all areas of photography. On leaving school, Steven got an apprenticeship with a commercial photographic studio in north London servicing top, blue chip clients. This gave him an excellent technical ability in the art of light manipulation as well as the working of most cameras from plate cameras to the most up to date digital SLR of today. Whilst working in commercial photography Steven’s interest in social photography grew. During weekends he worked at a portrait and wedding studio in north west London participating in wedding photography shoots with some of the top social photographer of that time. This experience resulted in Steven having photographed weddings and portraits under his own name for twenty years with a wealth of satisfied clients. His customer testimonial page is proof of this.

Steven has a studio based ten miles outside Colchester and Braintree and three miles from Halstead.
Steven Littler Photography offers wedding photography and family portraits that are full of fun.
He has only one desire – to capture the spirit, emotion & personality in everyone we photograph.
He will do whatever it takes to make your day perfect.

In 2008 we expanded the business by having a 1930 style Model A Ford built.
We have special offer packages that include Wedding Photography and Chauffeur-driven Wedding Car hire, plus a free DVD slide show of your wedding and 4-18x12 prints as a thank you for booking both the car and photography.
If you only need a wedding car or just wedding photography they can be booked separately.

Crabbs Barn
Situated on the outskirts of the quiet North East Village of Kelvedon, Crabbs Barn is a stunning 15th century restored building set in beautiful gardens overlooking a picturesque pond.

Prested Hall, Kelvedon
A part-moated 15th century country house in a 75-acre setting.
50 minutes from Liverpool Street Station to Kelvedon. Stansted to Prested is about 30 minutes car

Weddings in the Colchester Town Hall
When you enter the Baroque style Town Hall building through two highly decorated cast-iron gates, gifted to The Town Hall in 1898, you come into the reception hall with marble staircase and statue of Queen Victoria

Layer Marney Tower, Colchester
This imposing Tudor Gatehouse was built in the first half of Henry VIII’s reign.
The stunning Long Gallery at Layer Marney Tower is a wonderful place to hold a party or celebration. With its polished floor, wood panelling and a Jacobean fireplace, the Long Gallery is the perfect place.

The White Hart, Great Yeldham
The White Hart is situated in the attractive village of Great Yeldham on the banks of the River Colne.
A large timber-framed house and former coaching inn with traditional wooden beams and charming open fireplaces. With splendid grounds that surround the building it is the perfect setting for weddings.

The Fennes Estate, Bocking, Braintree

Gosfield Hall
Georgian manor house originally built in 1545 and remodelled in the 18th century.
Located just 8 miles from Braintree and close to the M11.
The Marquis of Buckingham's former ballroom provides an exquisite setting for the reception meal for up to 116 guests.

Hedingham Castle
Medieval Castle with a Norman keep.
Situated in the village of Castle Hedingham, half a mile from the A1017 between Cambridge and Colchester.. You can have a traditional modern ceremony or choose a medieval theme with authentic costumes and strolling minstrel.

Leez Priory
16th Century Tudor Mansion set in 40 acres of beautiful parkland.
A few minutes drive from Chelmsford in Essex, and 15 minutes from the M11.
Leez Priory was the first country house to be licensed in England to conduct civil marriage ceremonies

East Mersea Hall
An Elizabethan Grade II listed country family home which dates back to the 16th Century, beautifully set amongst 36 acres of woodland and gardens.
East Mersea Hall is 10 miles east of Colchester and 75 miles north of London.

Channels Lodge Chelmsford
